Government Officials Inspect Progress at Parirenyatwa Hospital

Rehabilitation Projects Government 

The Special Advisor to the President on Monitoring and Implementation of Government Programmes and Projects, Dr Joram Gumbo, today toured ongoing rehabilitation works at the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.

He was accompanied by the Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Senator Charles Tavengwa, as well as the Secretary for Health and Child Care, Dr Aspect Maunganidze, among other senior government officials.

The delegation expressed satisfaction with the progress made in modernising the country’s largest referral health institution. Officials noted that refurbishment works at Adlam House are nearing completion.

Meanwhile, rehabilitation efforts at Mbuya Nehanda Maternity Hospital are advancing steadily, with contractors targeting the handover of the upgraded maternity wing in the coming months.

The upgrades are expected to improve service delivery and enhance healthcare infrastructure at the institution.
