Mudiwa Hood raised more than US$350,000 during the launch of his second book, How to Make Money in the Shortest Time Possible, at a star-studded event held in Harare on Friday night.
The launch attracted entrepreneurs, chief executive officers, politicians, businesspeople and other influential figures, with businessman and cleric Uebert Angel serving as the guest speaker.
One of the evening’s biggest highlights was Angel’s purchase of a copy of the book for US$99,000, a move that drew widespread attention among attendees.
Businessman Phillip Chiyangwa also made headlines after purchasing a copy for US$100,000, adding to the impressive amount raised during the event.
How to Make Money in the Shortest Time Possible is Mudiwa Hood’s second publication, following the release of his debut book, Shut Up and Make Money, which was launched in 2020.
The six-figure purchases, together with contributions from other buyers, helped push proceeds from the launch beyond the US$350,000 mark, underscoring the strong support Mudiwa Hood continues to enjoy within Zimbabwe’s business and entrepreneurial circles.
