Member of Parliament for Mabvuku-Tafara, Scott Sakupwanya, has expressed strong support for Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3), saying the country needs to focus more on development rather than constant election campaigns.

Speaking during the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 discussions in Mabvuku, Hon. Sakupwanya said frequent electoral activities disrupt progress and shift attention away from important national projects.

“Passing the amendment will create a stable period that allows government and communities to concentrate on long-term development goals.

The ongoing infrastructure improvements in Mabvuku-Tafara are evidence of progress under the leadership of President Emmerson Mnangagwa,” Hon. Sakupwanya said.

According to Sakupwanya, these developments show what can be achieved when there is stability and clear direction.

He called on citizens to support the bill, saying it will help sustain the gains already being made across the country.

“I’m working closely with relevant authorities to address water challenges in Mabvuku constituency.

Efforts are underway to ensure residents of Mabvuku-Tafara have access to clean, running water 24 hours a day,” Hon. Sakupwanya added.

He emphasised that improving basic services such as water supply remains a key priority for his office, as part of a broader push to improve living standards in the area.
