Scottland FC delivered a dominant performance to dismantle Dynamos 5-0 in a one-sided Castle Challenge Cup encounter played at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.

The Mabvuku-based side controlled proceedings from the opening whistle, showcasing attacking efficiency and tactical discipline against a Dynamos side that struggled to match their intensity.

Scottland opened the scoring through new signing Emmanuel Ziocha, who recently joined the club from Simba Bhora. The forward made an immediate impact, calmly finishing to give his side an early advantage and set the tone for the afternoon.

Midfielder Tymon Machope doubled the lead soon after, capitalising on sustained pressure as Scottland continued to dominate possession and create chances.

The second half offered little relief for Dynamos as Scottland maintained their attacking momentum. Veteran forward Walter Musona added the third goal in the 66th minute, effectively putting the contest beyond reach.

Moments later, Knowledge Musona extended the lead to four goals, compounding Dynamos’ defensive woes and energising the Rufaro crowd.

Dynamos’ difficult afternoon worsened when Collin Mujuru was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving his side a man down and further exposed defensively.

Scottland sealed an emphatic victory late in the match when Khama Billiat found the back of the net in the 89th minute to complete a comprehensive 5-0 triumph.

The result underlines Scottland FC’s growing competitiveness ahead of the new season, while Dynamos will be left searching for answers following a heavy defeat in one of Zimbabwean football’s high-profile fixtures.
