Zimbabwean entrepreneur Kudakwashe Tagwirei has injected fresh support into youth empowerment efforts after donating US$500,000 along with a brand-new vehicle to AMA2K4ED during a public gathering held on Wednesday at the Harare Showgrounds.

The handover ceremony drew senior government representatives, youth leaders and empowerment stakeholders, among them Youth Empowerment and Vocational Training Minister Tino Machakaire.

Event organisers said the financial contribution will be channelled towards the organisation’s nationwide programmes, while the vehicle has been allocated to the association’s national chairperson to enhance operational coordination and administrative efficiency.

Tagwirei, who is widely recognised for his involvement in Zimbabwe’s business landscape, has a track record of backing initiatives that promote economic growth and youth inclusion in national development.

AMA2K4ED describes itself as a youth-led movement committed to advancing economic participation through entrepreneurship, skills training and empowerment projects aligned with national development goals.

Organisers hailed the donation as a major milestone that strengthens the organisation’s ability to expand its activities countrywide.

The event ended with renewed calls for stronger partnerships between government, the private sector and youth-based organisations to tackle economic challenges and foster sustainable development.
