Takura, Saintfloew Lead Girlfest’s Rosa Riviera Edition

Zimbabwean music heavyweights Takura and Saintfloew are set to headline this year’s Girlfest Zimbabwe when the women-focused lifestyle festival returns to Old Hararians Sports Club on September 19th.

The 2026 edition, running under the theme “Rosa Riviera”, is expected to combine live music, fashion, food and social entertainment as the festival seeks to give women a space to celebrate friendship, creativity and sisterhood.

Takura and Saintfloew will be joined on the main stage by popular Zimdancehall musician Enzo Ishall and rising female vocalist Atenda Chinx, giving the festival a mix of established performers and emerging talent.

The entertainment programme will also feature DJs MadeHerBelieve, Samuel Cosmic and KingHer, while media personality KVG will take up hosting duties.

The lineup comes as Girlfest continues to establish itself as one of Harare’s notable lifestyle events, attracting audiences around an experience that goes beyond music.

Saintfloew arrives at the festival following a UK tour and the launch of his “Ndo Ghetto Racho” album, while Takura recently performed at Unplugged, adding further momentum to their appearances at the September event.

For Enzo Ishall, the festival represents another return to the Girlfest stage, while Atenda Chinx brings a female voice to a lineup otherwise dominated by established male performers.

Event organisers have positioned Girlfest as a women-only, women-organised festival that has been running annually since 2019, with its focus extending to creating a relaxed, safe and classy environment where women can enjoy entertainment and connect with one another.

The musical programme will be complemented by food and lifestyle offerings, with several outlets expected to operate at the festival’s food village.

Food vendors listed for the event include RocoMamas, Chicken Hut, Jollof Junxion, Subs & Mo, Chicken Basket, Leekays Kitchen and Chicken House.

Girlfest has also retained a strong entertainment-industry partnership component, with Brutal Fruit returning as the festival’s cider partner and Star FM expected to broadcast live from the event.

Girlfest’s return comes at a time when Zimbabwe’s creative sector is increasingly using lifestyle festivals as platforms for musicians, DJs, food businesses, fashion brands and media personalities to engage directly with audiences.

With gates opening at midday, the September 19th event is expected to run into the evening, giving everyone a full day of entertainment.

Tickets are currently available through selected Elixir outlets, Subs & Mo outlets in Greenfields and Joina City, as well as online through ClicknPay, with listings showing general tickets from US$15 and VIP packages ranging between US$60 and US$80.
