A 33-year-old Harare man from Dzivarasekwa 2 is reportedly receiving treatment at a local hospital after he was allegedly injured by his wife during a domestic dispute.
Sharline Rutendo Munenga, 29, appeared before a Harare magistrate facing allegations of assault and was remanded in custody.
The court heard that on September 9, Munenga allegedly received information that her husband, Munyaradzi Pondi, was involved in an extramarital affair.
She reportedly confronted Pondi seeking clarification over the alleged affair, but the explanation she received did not satisfy her.
The disagreement allegedly escalated into a heated confrontation, during which Munenga is accused of biting her husband’s testicles, leaving him requiring medical attention.
The matter was remanded to a later date, with Munenga remaining in custody.
