The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced new petroleum prices for diesel and blend, effective 09 September 2026.
In a statement, ZERA pegged the maximum retail price for Diesel (50) at USD1.95 per litre and Blend (E20) at USD1.99 per litre. In local currency, Diesel (50) will sell at ZWG 52.10, while Blend (E20) is set at ZWG 53.06.
ZERA confirmed the blending ratio remains at E20.
Operators have been advised they may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages, provided they display the prices prominently as per fuel pricing regulations.
The authority stated it will maintain continuous monitoring and review as government interventions remain in place to mitigate the impact of global geopolitical developments on consumers.
