Breaking : Tendai Magaya Granted Bail
Tendai Magaya, the wife of preacher Walter Magaya, who is facing charges of fraud and rape, has been granted bail. She and her husband are accused of swindling home-seekers.
The magistrate granted bail, noting that despite the ongoing investigation since 2023, Magaya had not fled. This decision came after the prosecution expressed concerns that she might be a flight risk. While she was granted bail for the fraud charge, Magaya was remanded in custody until November 13 for the rape charge and will seek bail from the High Court for both charges
