Mnangagwa Strikes a Chord: Zim Afro T10 Season 2 Scores Big

President Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday hailed the Zim Afro T10 Season 2’s resounding success, emphasizing sports’ unifying power and potential to boost Zimbabwe’s economy.
At the tournament’s closing ceremony, Mnangagwa acknowledged sports’ ability to foster national pride and unity, stating, “The thrill of competition brings us together, transcending boundaries.”
Mnangagwa highlighted sports tourism’s economic benefits, noting, “By investing in sports infrastructure and programs, we open doors to international events, showcasing Zimbabwe’s beauty and hospitality.”
The President also underscored sports’ role in empowering youth, saying, “Through sports, our young people develop valuable life skills, discipline, and growth opportunities.”
With the Zim Afro T10 Season 2’s triumphant conclusion, Mnangagwa reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting sports development and youth empowerment initiatives.
