Masasi High School Abuse Scandal Sparks Public Outcry
A disturbing video has gone viral on social media, allegedly showing Form 4 boys from Masasi High School in Bocha, Mutare District, physically assaulting a Form 1 student.
The group of boys, who reportedly refer to themselves as “mauto maForm 4 manyama” (Form 4 soldiers), filmed the violent act, sparking outrage from parents, community members, and child rights activists.
According to reports, the attack was so brutal that the young girl lost control of her bowels during the incident.
Human rights defenders and education stakeholders are now calling for police intervention, demanding that the perpetrators face justice.
They insist that strong disciplinary measures are needed to protect learners and deter future cases of abuse in schools.
Pressure is mounting on authorities to act swiftly, with campaigners stressing that any form of s@xual or physical violence against pupils must be treated as a serious crime, not just a disciplinary issue.

I feel justice wasn’t done to this case considering the violent nature of Rape that was conducted by these boys the need a stiffer sentence which will be a deterant measure to other Teenagers out there
