ZANU PF Politburo scheduled for Tomorrow
By Sam Mupedziswa
The ZANU PF Politburo will convene at the party headquarters on Wednesday for an ordinary session. The meeting will focus on preparations for the 21st ZANU PF National Annual People’s Conference, slated for Bulawayo in October.
The conference agenda will prioritize key issues, including updates on the cell and village verification programme, the state of the economy, and strategies for consolidating transformative development momentum under the Second Republic. These discussions will chart the party’s course for the Second Republic.
Last week, senior ZANU PF members were deployed to supervise the verification programme across the country’s 10 provinces. This move aims to strengthen party structures and enhance grassroots engagement.
Secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Christopher Hatikure Mutsvangwa, announced that all members are expected to attend the Politburo meeting on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 12 noon. Members are requested to be seated by 11:45 am.
The Bulawayo conference will be a crucial platform for ZANU PF to reflect on its progress and outline future directions. The party’s leadership will engage in fruitful discussions, shaping the nation’s economic and development trajectory.
