Police Nab Notorious Highway Robbery Gang
Police detectives have arrested two men who were part of a gang who were pouncing on motorists.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said Beitbridge police arrested the duo on 16 July 2025.
“Police arrested Justice Mupanga (21) and Methelia Fuzani (28) for a robbery in which the suspects.
“Their accomplice, Busani Zikhali, who is yet to be arrested, allegedly posed as a genuine client looking for transport from the Beitbridge border post to the Lutumba business center on 21 May 2025.
“The suspects hired a taxi, and along the way, they robbed the taxi driver of his cellphones, cash, and other valuables,” he said.
