Madzibaba David Brings Medical Support to 100K Worshippers
Madzibaba David Munowenyu, founder and CEO of Discovery Ambulance Services, has made a powerful impact at the ongoing Johane Masowe eChishanu Mid-Year National Prayer Meeting by donating US$20,000 and offering free medical services to over 100,000 worshippers gathered at Gwanzura Stadium in Highfield, Harare.
A devoted member of the church and a prominent figure in Zimbabwe’s healthcare sector, Madzibaba Munowenyu deployed ambulances and medical teams to deliver on-site emergency care and first aid throughout the massive three-day event. His actions blended deep spiritual faith with practical support for the congregation.
In his remarks, he explained that the donation was inspired by the unwavering faith and unity shown by the church. “This is not just a donation—it is my way of giving back to a community that brings hope and strength to the nation,” he said.
The event, led by Madzibaba Moses Gwasarira, who also serves as the National Chairman of Vapostori for Economic Empowerment, was attended by senior prophets including Madzibaba Owen (Velvet), Madzibaba Acknadge (Britain), Madzibaba Simba (Commander), Madzibaba Magirazi, Madzibaba Kedha, and Madzibaba Bholo.
The prayer gathering included a vibrant street procession through Machipisa Business Centre, where members prayed for national unity and prosperity. With Discovery Ambulance Services on-site, attendees felt safe and cared for, even in the large crowd.
Madzibaba Gwasarira praised Munowenyu’s contribution, calling it “a true act of patriotism and service,” and highlighting how his generosity strengthened both the spiritual and physical well-being of the community.
