Veterinary media personality, Oscar Pambuka has urged rising socialite, Colourful to desist from hogging the linelight for the wrong reasons as the emerging talent has been widely getting attention on social media following her use of explicit language saying she should rather capitalise on her influence.

Colourful, along with her former friend Namatai Bhobho, popularly known as Malloti, have been trending following the circulation videos in which the duo largely use offensive language.

In a heartfelt message, Pambuka urged Colourful to recognize her potential as a role model for her peers.

“Colourful, your presence already shows you have talent. Last week, I was at Girls High, and many students were praising you for your beauty and future as an emerging young leader. They look up to you, so please do not lead them astray. You are a leader, not a comedian. I see success in you—use your influence positively,” he said.

Pambuka emphasized that this was simply advice not being judgmental for the young socialite to channel her visibility into constructive influence.

The appeal highlights growing concerns among media personalities and educators about the impact of social media content on young audiences, particularly when trending figures wield significant influence over impressionable followers.
