Bulawayo – In a timely and visionary move, the Brian Samuriwo Foundation has donated solar equipment to NUST FM, Zimbabwe’s premier campus radio station. This generous intervention has saved the station from potential closure due to recurring power cuts.

The chronic power outages had severely hindered NUST FM’s ability to meet regulatory requirements for continuous broadcasting. However, with the installation of the solar-powered system, the station can now ensure uninterrupted transmission, safeguarding its license and continued service to the community.

This donation underscores the Brian Samuriwo Foundation’s commitment to supporting education, community development, and environmental sustainability. By providing a sustainable energy solution, the foundation has enabled NUST FM to focus on its core mandate of delivering quality programming, promoting local talent, and serving as a vibrant platform for student expression.

In alignment with Vision 2030, this initiative embodies the principles of leaving no one and no place behind, fostering inclusive growth and development.
