Chinese Business Magnate Eyes Zimbabwe Investment Opportunities

Renowned Chinese businessman, Mr. Qiu Zhiming, Chairman of Beifa Group, has arrived in Zimbabwe to explore investment opportunities following the signing of 17 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) between China and Zimbabwe at the FOCAC Summit. As a leading player in China’s stationery manufacturing industry, Beifa Group boasts a significant global presence.

During the FOCAC Summit in Beijing, President Mnangagwa and Chinese President Xi Jinping oversaw the signing of 17 bilateral agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation between the two nations. 

With over 30 years of business experience, Mr. Zhiming seeks to expand Beifa Group’s stationery investments in Zimbabwe, leveraging the recently signed agreements. His visit underscores the growing economic ties between China and Zimbabwe.

One key MoU focuses on implementing high-impact projects, which has prompted Mr. Zhiming’s visit to Zimbabwe. 

This development is poised to foster economic growth and cooperation between China and Zimbabwe.
