CZLWVA Rallies behind Citizens Against Economic Sanctions

Bulawayo Children of Zimbabwe Liberation War Veterans Association, are rallying behind Citizens Against Economic Sanctions (CAES) National launch which will take center stage today. The launch guest of Honour, is National Political Commissar, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha.
Bulawayo Province Chairman, Cde Gift Muhomba said, “we rally behind CAES and fully ally ourself with the urgent call for the elimination of illegal sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe. These sanctions constitute an unjust impediment that has not only crippled the functioning of our financial institutions in Zimbabwe”.
Mr Muhomba added that sanctions have also asphyxiate trade, creating ripple effects that dissuade the growth of our economy and businesses. He added that these sanctions have hindered the ability to trade freely with other nations.
“These sanctions, however, have foisted unnecessary restrictions on Zimbabwe’s access to international trade,” Mr Muhomba stressed.
One of the CZLWVA member said, “Sanctions have disrupted business operations and hindered the entrepreneurial spirit that drives innovation and development.”
The event is expected to start at 10am at the City Sports Center in Harare.
