President Xi Jinping Launches 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation

In a grand ceremony held at the iconic Great Hall in Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping officially inaugurated the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). The prestigious gathering brings together 50 African leaders, including President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe who is also the SADC chairperson to foster stronger ties between China and the African continent.
This visionary approach aims to cement a lasting bond between China and Africa, built on mutual respect, trust, and cooperation. As the forum progresses, delegates will engage in fruitful discussions, exploring avenues for collaboration and sustainable development.
The summit is expected to run from the 4th to the 6th of September and will see heads of states discuss policies and agreements to strengthen political and economic relations between China and Africa.
