Presidential Innovation Fair 2024 Awards Ceremony On Going

HARARE – TODAY 18.09.24, President Emmerson Mnangagwa is hosting the Presidential Innovation Fair 2024 Awards Ceremony today at the Rainbow Towers HICC in Harare, under the theme “Innovation for attainment of Vision 2030. This event aligns with Zimbabwe’s goal of achieving Vision 2030, which emphasizes innovation and technology as key drivers of economic growth and development.

The Presidential Innovation Fair is an initiative that recognizes and rewards innovative ideas and solutions that contribute to Zimbabwe’s socio-economic progress. Last year’s event saw Verify Engineering win the Presidential Innovation of the Year Award. 
 

Key Focus Areas of Vision 2030:

Economic Development: Fostering entrepreneurship, industrialization, and investment.

Education and Skills Development: Enhancing education systems and promoting skills development for the digital age.

Innovation and Technology: Encouraging research, development, and adoption of emerging technologies.

By hosting events like the Presidential Innovation Fair, President Mnangagwa aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, driving Zimbabwe towards achieving its Vision 2030 goals.
