HARARE – Zimbabwe’s road rehabilitation efforts are gaining momentum, with Solomon Mujuru Road (formerly Kirkman Road) currently undergoing major surfacing works. This project is part of the Second Republic’s nationwide infrastructure development drive, championed by President ED Mnangagwa.

The goal is to ensure no region is left behind, improving connectivity, economic growth, and citizens’ quality of life.

The rehabilitation of Solomon Mujuru Road is a shining example of the administration’s commitment to upgrading Zimbabwe’s infrastructure, building on successes from regional projects across the SADC region.

Notably, Zimbabwe’s road network upgrade began before the SADC Summit and continues unabated. The 2nd Republic is dedicated to leaving no one and no place behind, ensuring every community benefits from these infrastructure improvements.
