On Wednesday, Hon. Ezra Chadzamira, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Masvingo Province, officially launched the construction of a cutting-edge multi-service center at Rutenga Industrial Park in Mwenezi District. This visionary project aligns perfectly with Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030, aiming to transform the local economy and improve livelihoods.

The center will feature three key facilities: a paprika processing plant, a sesame value addition center, and a youth vocational training center. These initiatives will create jobs and equip the youth with essential skills to thrive in the industry. By fostering economic growth and development, the project embodies the “leaving no one and no place behind” mantra.

Hon. Chadzamira has driven development in Masvingo Province, with nearly 200 schools and clinics built using devolution funds. This has revolutionized the province’s socio-economic landscape. The minister’s commitment to progress is unwavering, and this latest project testifies to his dedication.

The multi-service center’s key facilities will enhance the local agriculture industry, promote value addition and beneficiation, and empower the youth with skills and knowledge. As Zimbabwe strives to become an upper-middle-income economy by 2030, initiatives like this are crucial. By investing in education, health, and infrastructure, the government paves the way for a brighter future.
