“President Mnangagwa Chairs Central Committee Meeting as ZANU-PF Conference Gains Momentum”

Today, President Dr. E. D. Mnangagwa, First Secretary of ZANU-PF, is chairing the Central Committee meeting at the party headquarters in Harare, marking the second day of the party’s 21st Annual National People’s Conference. This significant event, themed “Industrialise, modernise towards Vision 2030,” is being held in Bulawayo from October 22-27, 2024.

The conference aims to discuss key issues, formulate strategies, and reinforce the party’s commitment to national development. With over 4,300 delegates expected to attend, the event presents a unique opportunity for ZANU-PF to showcase its unity and growth. President Mnangagwa has called on every member to contribute to the conference’s success, linking its outcome to the future progress and success of ZANU-PF. 

The conference will focus on various aspects, including economic revitalization, infrastructure development, and social services improvement. Discussions will center on industrialization and modernization, driving Zimbabwe’s economic progress toward achieving an upper-middle-income economy by 2030. 

As the party gears up for this significant event, President Mnangagwa’s leadership and vision are expected to shape the conference’s outcomes. The ZANU-PF 21st Annual National People’s Conference is a pivotal event in the party’s calendar, underscoring its dedication to Zimbabwe’s prosperity.

The conference coincides with the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Anti-Sanctions Day, highlighting Zimbabwe’s regional significance. This alignment underscores ZANU-PF’s commitment to regional cooperation and economic growth.
