President Mnangagwa Kicks Off 27th Mine Entra Expo: Boosting Zimbabwe’s Mining Sector

President  Mnangagwa has arrived in Bulawayo to officially open the 27th Mining, Engineering, and Transport Expo (Mine Entra) at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre.

The expo, running from October 10-12, 2024, brings together industry professionals, innovators, and stakeholders to showcase cutting-edge technologies, products, and services. This premier event aims to propel Zimbabwe’s mining sector forward, fostering growth, investment, and collaboration. 

President Mnangagwa’s participation underscores the government’s dedication to supporting the mining industry, a vital contributor to Zimbabwe’s economy. His presence is expected to draw attention to the country’s vast mineral resources and investment opportunities.

The expo will feature exhibits, conferences, and networking sessions, providing a platform for local and international businesses to connect and explore partnerships. 

As Zimbabwe strives to become a middle-income economy by 2030, the mining sector plays a critical role in achieving this vision. The 27th Mine Entra expo is poised to contribute significantly to this goal.
