Foundation for the Care of Vulnerables reaching out in Binga

Community philanthropy is a potent strategy for addressing local challenges and enhancing community well-being. Foundation for the Care of Vulnerables/ Visionary Youth for Economic Development (FCV)/(VY4ED) Foundation continues to reach far and wide in there Philanthropic work.
Today Cde Hle Founder of FCV/VY4ED will be distributing food hampers, to a total of 32 vulnerable Children at Kabwe Children’s Home and at Sunrise Children’s Home in Binga. This demonstrates her commitment to vulnerable communities.
Zimbabwe’s community philanthropy landscape is rooted in history, with established community foundations, giving circles, and youth banks. The event is expected to be graced by Matabeleland North Provincial Affairs Minister, who is also ZANU-PF Chairman Honourable Richard Moyo, Matabeleland North ZANU-PF Chairman for Youth League Cde Alvin Lundy Sinzeka and Bulawayo Province CZLWVA Chairman Gift Muhomba.
The hampers are going to be distributed to 19 Children of Kabwe Children’s home and to 13 Sunrise Children Home in Binga. Community philanthropy empowers individuals and groups of vulnerables to address local issues and foster trust. This collaborative approach ensures sustainability beyond external funding.
FCV/VY4ED thanked His Excellency, President Dr. E. D Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030, which allows everyone to be recognized by embracing innovative solutions. Zimbabwe aims to build a resilient, equitable, and prosperous future for all its citizens, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals.
Despite obstacles faced by FCV/VY4ED philanthropy work remains vital for Zimbabwe’s progress. Supporting community-led initiatives and empowering local leaders to create a brighter future for all Zimbabweans.
