ZACC, Parliament Pledge Stronger Collaboration in Anti-Corruption Drive
The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) today paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Adv. Jacob Francis Nzwidamilimo Mudenda, at Parliament, in a move aimed at deepening cooperation in the fight against corruption.
The engagement underscored a shared commitment between the legislative arm and ZACC to promote transparency, accountability, and good governance across all sectors.
During the meeting, Speaker Mudenda emphasised Parliament’s critical oversight role in ensuring public accountability and safeguarding national resources.
He reiterated Parliament’s support for robust institutional frameworks that deter corruption and strengthen democratic governance.
In turn, ZACC officials stressed the importance of collaborative approaches in tackling systemic corruption, highlighting the need for coordination.
