The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) is set to mark a historic milestone this year, celebrating 130 years of service to the nation. Coinciding with this anniversary is the 115th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, which will run from Monday, 25 August 2025 to Saturday, 30 August 2025 in Harare.

This year’s show will be held under the powerful theme: “Building Bridges: Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Community.” The theme reflects ZAS’s continued efforts to promote integration between key sectors of the economy while fostering inclusive growth and national development.

As one of the country’s most prominent annual exhibitions, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show has evolved from a traditional agricultural fair into a dynamic platform for showcasing innovation, investment opportunities, and partnerships across agriculture, manufacturing, and community development.

Speaking ahead of the event, ZAS officials emphasized the significance of this year’s edition, not only in terms of longevity but also in its expanded focus. The show will feature a wide range of exhibitors from across the agricultural value chain, as well as industrial players, SMEs, and community-based organizations.

The 2025 edition is expected to attract thousands of participants including local and regional exhibitors, investors, policy-makers, farmers, and schoolchildren. A series of business forums, agri-tech exhibitions, livestock showcases, and community engagement sessions will run throughout the week, offering learning and networking opportunities for all stakeholders.

With the theme emphasizing collaboration, this year’s show aims to highlight how Zimbabwe’s future economic prosperity lies in stronger links between the fields, factories, and communities.

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is held annually at the Harare Exhibition Park, and it continues to be one of the oldest and most influential events on the national calendar.

As ZAS celebrates 130 years of shaping and supporting agricultural development in Zimbabwe, the 115th Agricultural Show promises to be both a tribute to the past and a call to action for the future.
