President Mnangagwa Visits Zimbabwe’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka

President Emmerson Mnangagwa recently visited Zimbabwe’s pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, where he expressed satisfaction with the presentation of the country’s innovations and cultural heritage on the global stage.

Since the event commenced in April, the Zimbabwean exhibit has attracted significant interest, drawing an average of 7,000 visitors daily and surpassing 500,000 visitors to date.

President Mnangagwa commended the high standards of the displays, emphasizing the critical role international expos play in promoting national identity and economic opportunities. He stressed the importance of global knowledge exchange, noting that such platforms offer valuable insights that countries like Zimbabwe can learn from to enhance local practices across various industries.

“Participating in international expos such as this one allows us to engage with other nations, share our experiences, and adopt innovative strategies that can benefit our economy,” he remarked.

In addition to touring Zimbabwe’s pavilion, the President also visited exhibits hosted by Japan, Zambia, Lesotho, and Malawi, reinforcing regional ties and exploring collaborative opportunities with fellow nations.
