Pictures: Guruve RDC Offices Gutted by Fire in Suspected Arson Attack
The Guruve Rural District Council (RDC) offices were engulfed by flames in the early hours of Wednesday morning in what is being treated as a suspected arson attack.
According to eyewitnesses, they reported seeing smoke billowing from the council offices before firefighters rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, much of the building and its contents were destroyed.
Although no official statement has yet been released by the Zimbabwe Republic Police, sources suggest the fire may have been deliberately set to destroy sensitive records.
This comes amid ongoing investigations and unresolved cases involving the council.
