The Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary committee has handed down decisive rulings that could significantly influence the outcome of the 2025 Castle Lager Premiership title race.

Full points have been awarded to both Scottland FC and FC Platinum following the abandonment of their respective fixtures due to disciplinary breaches by their opponents.

Scottland FC were granted a 3-0 victory over Chicken Inn following a chaotic end to their May 23 encounter. The match, played at Scottland’s home ground, was called off in the 90th minute after the Gamecocks refused to continue play when a penalty was awarded against them.

The PSL found Chicken Inn and midfielder George Majika guilty of misconduct, fining the club US$5,000 and slapping Majika with a US$1,000 penalty for his role in the fracas.

Similarly, FC Platinum were declared 3-0 winners over Dynamos after the June 22 match at Mandava Stadium was abandoned. The game was tied 1-1 when Dynamos stormed off the pitch in protest of a penalty awarded to their opponents.

Head coach Saul Chaminuka led the walk-off and was consequently fined US$4,000 and suspended from the technical bench for the next two matches. Dynamos, already under financial strain and languishing near the relegation zone, were fined an additional US$5,000.

The PSL’s disciplinary decisions have reinforced the league’s stance on professional conduct and fair play, especially in high-stakes matches.
