Scottland FC forward Tymon Machope has demonstrated that he has the talent and determination to lead the Warriors’ frontline at the upcoming AFCON 2025 tournament in Morocco.

Known for his sharp finishing, intelligent movement, and strong physical presence, Machope has become a serious contender for the centre-forward position. His recent club performances have showcased his ability to score under pressure and work seamlessly with midfielders key attributes, which the national team will need on the continental stage.

In an interview with Hurumende News Hub, Machope said, “This season, I am aiming to reach double digits in goals. With only 13 games left, I am determined to give my best for the team.” He has featured in 17 of Scottland FC’s 23 matches so far this season.

In a recent match against Yadah FC at Rufaro Stadium, Machope came on as a substitute and made an immediate impact. With less than 15 minutes on the pitch, he scored the winning goal, securing a crucial 1-0 victory that lifted Scottland FC to second place on the league table, just one point behind Simba Bhora FC.

Last season, Machope scored 12 goals for Simba Bhora FC and played a key role in helping the team win the Castle Lager Premier League. He also featured in the Chibuku Super Cup final, where they were defeated by Dynamos FC.
