Discovery Ambulance Services, under the leadership of CEO and Founder Mr. David Munowenyu, has been warmly welcomed in Masvingo following the launch of a two-day free medical outreach initiative.

The programme, which began yesterday, has already served over 1,000 patients, offering free health check-ups, medications, and emergency services to the local community.

Residents expressed deep gratitude for the timely intervention, with many commending Mr. Munowenyu and his team for bringing critical healthcare services directly to those in need.

Speaking to the media, one of the beneficiaries highlighted how the outreach had helped address long-standing health concerns they could not afford to treat.

“I have had a problem with my blood pressure for months, but I couldn’t afford private consultation. Today, I got checked and received free medication. This is a blessing,” said Mrs. Tsitsi Mudzviti from the local community.

Mr. Munowenyu thanked the people of Masvingo for their warm reception and reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare accessibility across Zimbabwe.

He also expressed sincere appreciation to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the Presidential Health Scheme and his vision of leaving no one behind in national development.

Today, the outreach continues at Songaniso Mission, where Vice President Kembo Mohadi is officiating the programme as the Guest of Honor.

His presence underscores the government’s support for public-private partnerships aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery across the country.

As the outreach progresses, more patients are expected to benefit from this life-changing initiative, with Discovery Ambulance Services pledging to expand their services to other underserved areas in the near future.
