Women’s League and YW4ED a Forged Alliance
The Zanu PF Women’s League has intensified its economic empowerment initiatives in Mashonaland East Province through a partnership with Young Women 4ED (YW4ED), a party affiliate, following the successful launch of a poultry production project that has benefited hundreds of women.
Speaking during a groundbreaking ceremony, Minister of Information Communication Technology and YW4ED National Chairperson, Tatenda Mavetera, applauded Women’s League leader Cde Mabel Chinomona for her role in championing women’s empowerment.
“Cde Chinomona is not only our liberator, but she is also our mother, our sister, and the driving force behind YW4ED,” said Minister Mavetera.
Also speaking at the event, Provincial Chairperson Cde Farai Chinomona emphasized that the empowerment drive would uplift women across the province.
“We are committed to achieving our national goal of Vision 2030,” she said.
“The Zanu PF Women’s League serves as our advisor and continues to guide us as young women in the party. As YW4ED, working alongside the Women’s League, we are the vanguard of Zanu PF. We stand here today as living proof of the party’s commitment to empowering young women across Zimbabwe.”
