Tsholotsho police were left shocked after discovering the body of a woman buried in a shallow grave in a garden, following her alleged murder by her stepdaughter and the stepdaughter’s boyfriend.

National Police Spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed the tragic incident and stated that investigations are underway to apprehend the two suspects.

“Police in Tsholotsho are appealing for information that could lead to the arrest of Linnar Muzimela (34) and her boyfriend, identified only as Nkosi,” said Commissioner Nyathi.

“They are wanted in connection with the murder of Jenifer Dube (58), which occurred in Magotsha Line, Tsholotsho, in May 2025.”

According to police, the suspects allegedly murdered Jenifer Dube—Muzimela’s stepmother—and buried her body in a shallow grave in the garden.

“The body was recovered from the grave on September 2, 2025,” Nyathi added.
