President Mnangagwa to Commission US$29 Million Midlands Park Housing Project
President Emmerson Mnangagwa is scheduled to officially open the Midlands Park Flats in Zvishavane, a US$29 million housing project designed to accommodate 1,000 families.
The commissioning ceremony will take place ahead of the President’s 83rd birthday celebrations, which are set to be held at Muzondiwa Business Centre.
Branded as Munhumutapa Day, the celebrations are organized by the ZANU-PF Youth League as a tribute to the legacy of the pre-colonial Mutapa Empire and to highlight the economic strides made under the Second Republic.
An estimated 30,000 youths are expected to attend the event, which will conclude with a musical gala in the evening.
