All Roads Lead to Glamis Arena for the 10th Castle Lager Braai Fest
The wait is over! This Saturday, 18 October 2025, Glamis Arena in Harare will become the epicentre of Zimbabwean music, food, and culture as the Castle Lager Braai Fest marks its 10th anniversary. Branded “The Biggest Braai of the Decade,” the 2025 edition promises an unforgettable celebration of flavour, fun, and unity — kicking off at 11AM and running until late.
Since its launch in 2015, the Braai Fest has grown from a casual cookout into the country’s largest food and music festival, drawing tens of thousands of attendees each year. It even earned a place in the Guinness World Records for hosting the most people cooking at the same time a proud moment for Zimbabwe’s vibrant braai culture.
This milestone event will once again light up Glamis Arena, one of Harare’s most iconic outdoor venues. With spacious grounds, designated braai zones, family-friendly activities, and exclusive VIP areas, the stage is set for an all-day celebration filled with sizzling grills, dancing, and laughter.
At the heart of the event is the unmistakable braai experience the smoky aroma of roasted meat, chilled Castle Lagers in hand, and good times shared among friends. Organisers have promised the biggest food variety yet, featuring everything from flame-grilled favourites to traditional dishes and refreshing beverages.
And the entertainment lineup is nothing short of explosive. Fans can expect live performances from some of Zimbabwe’s and Africa’s finest artists — Winky D, Nutty O, Enzo Ishall, Ammara Brown, Master H, Tamy Moyo, EXQ, Saintfloew, Qounfuzed, Heavy K, DJ Tira, and others who will keep the crowd dancing deep into the night.
Star FM, the official media partner, will be covering the festival live, offering ticket giveaways, backstage coverage, and real-time updates to fans nationwide.
To commemorate a decade of success, Castle Lager has already taken the celebrations nationwide through its “Micro Braai Tour” a 10-city series of pre-events that brought music and grilling excitement to communities across Zimbabwe.
But beyond the fun and festivities, this year’s edition carries a powerful message of giving back. As part of its corporate social responsibility drive, Castle Lager will donate 10 hospital beds to health institutions in each of the 10 participating cities a total of 100 beds countrywide. This initiative highlights the brand’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities.
For ten years, the Braai Fest has embodied Castle Lager’s timeless slogan — “It All Comes Together with a Castle.” It’s more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of unity, heritage, and the true Zimbabwean spirit.
