Warriors Announce Squad for Algeria and Qatar Friendlies: Surprise Inclusions and Big Name Absentees
The Zimbabwe senior men’s national football team, the Warriors, have announced their squad to face Algeria and Qatar in upcoming international friendlies, with a few surprises and notable omissions in the 23 man list.
Head coach Mario Marinica has handed shock call ups to Washington Navaya of TelOne FC and Tymon Machope of Scottland FC, while several established stars including Khama Billiat, Marshall Munetsi, and Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya are missing from the roster.
The squad also sees the return of Prosper Padera and Sean Fusire, who last featured for the Warriors earlier in the year.
