List of Teams Qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup
As of 17 November 2025, 32 nations have secured their places at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Portugal and Norway are the latest European sides to confirm qualification after finishing top of their respective groups. Norway’s return is particularly notable — their first World Cup appearance since 1998.
With these additions, only 14 spots remain. Europe still has eleven direct slots to fill, while North America will contribute three more teams, and two final berths will be decided through playoffs.
