Dynamos and Highlanders have avoided relegation after a tense finish to the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, which concluded with Scottland FC being crowned champions and four teams dropping to the lower division.

Dynamos finished the campaign in 13th place with 39 points, narrowly staying above the relegation zone after an inconsistent season that kept the club in survival mode for several weeks. Highlanders also survived on 39 points, edging clear of danger on goal difference.

The league confirmed the relegation of GreenFuel FC, Bikita Minerals FC, Yadah FC, and Kwekwe United FC following the release of the final standings. GreenFuel and Bikita Minerals both ended the season on 37 points, while Yadah finished on 35.

Kwekwe United were relegated with 10 points after managing only one win throughout the season.

At the top of the table, newly crowned champions Scottland FC secured the title with 69 points from 20 wins, nine draws, and five defeats.

The season also saw Malawi international William Thole finish with 17 clean sheets in 31 matches, earning him the Golden Glove award in his debut Premier Soccer League campaign.

The domestic season now shifts focus to the Chibuku Super Cup final set for November 29, before national attention turns to Zimbabwe’s participation in the upcoming AFCON tournament.
