In a dramatic shake-up that signals a decisive shift in direction, CAPS United have fired their entire technical team, bringing an abrupt end to the tenures of some of the club’s most trusted backroom figures.

Head coach Bakala is the biggest casualty of the sweeping changes, with the Green Machine confirming that his services have been terminated following a turbulent spell marked by inconsistent performances and growing pressure from both fans and the executive.

Also shown the exit door are key members of his staff:

Alexio Sigion, Assistant Coach

Witness Mnkuli, Goalkeepers Coach

Henry Chikombe, Fitness Trainer

Limited Chikafa, Team Manager

The mass clear-out is one of the most comprehensive overhauls CAPS United has initiated in recent seasons, underlining the club’s intention to rebuild from the technical bench up. Sources within the club say the decision was triggered by a combination of unsatisfactory results, internal disagreements, and the board’s desire to reset the team’s identity after another disappointing campaign.

As the dust settles, attention now shifts to who will take charge of the Harare giants. The club is expected to appoint an interim setup before unveiling a new technical team that will be tasked with restoring stability and rekindling the competitive spark the Green Machine once commanded.

For now, CAPS United’s message is clear: a new chapter begins and it starts with a complete clean-out.
