Dr. Tagwirei Backs Dr. Tungwarara’s Healthcare Renovation Efforts
Businessman and Zanu PF Central Committee Member Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei has commended ongoing government-led investment efforts, including the renovation of Parirenyatwa Hospital.
Speaking during the ZANU PF Harare Province Zone 6 Inter-District Feedback Meeting held at Rufaro Stadium in Mbare, Dr. Tagwirei acknowledged the work being conducted under the Office of the Presidential Investment Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara, saying the upgrades at Parirenyatwa represent a “critical step” in improving health-care infrastructure.
He highlighted that modernising key public hospitals remains essential to strengthening national service delivery.
Dr. Tagwirei also noted that President Emmerson Mnangagwa has repeatedly emphasized the improvement of health services as a national priority, with several projects underway aimed at expanding access to medical care for all Zimbabweans.
“The renovations at Parirenyatwa reflect the broader push to ensure citizens receive better health services,” he said, adding that investment in hospitals, clinics, and medical equipment will remain important for national development.
The Zone 6 Inter-District meeting brought together party members, delegates, community leaders, and business figures to review developmental progress, discuss ongoing challenges, and provide feedback on provincial programmes.
Health-care upgrades, youth empowerment, and infrastructure improvement were among the dominant themes raised during the session.
Residents and local leaders welcomed the updates on the Parirenyatwa project, saying improved hospital services would greatly benefit communities in Harare and beyond.
