American actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has once again placed Zimbabwe in the global spotlight after describing the country particularly Victoria Falls as the most beautiful destination she has ever visited.

Speaking during a podcast with Angie Martin, Haddish could not hide her admiration for Zimbabwe’s tourism jewel, vividly recounting her experience at the world-renowned waterfall.

“In my whole life, I have never seen such a beautiful place like Victoria Falls. We went to Zimbabwe, and I fell in love with Victoria Falls. It’s the most beautiful place I have ever been. To see the Falls during a full moon and to witness a rainbow at night was unbelievable,” she said.

Haddish went on to describe the surreal spectacle of the lunar rainbow, a rare natural phenomenon that occurs at Victoria Falls during full moons.

“A lunar rainbow is truly a gift from God. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in my whole life. The moon lights up all the water, and then this rainbow appears and then there are like 10 of them. I tried my best to capture it on camera,” she added.

Her heartfelt testimony further strengthened the country’s growing reputation as a must-visit destination.

The Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry took to X (formerly Twitter) to express gratitude for Haddish’s glowing remarks.

“Thank you for mentioning our destination. We love you and await your return to Zimbabwe so we can show you even more of what our country has to offer,” the Ministry said.

Haddish’s praise comes at a time when Zimbabwe is receiving increasing international recognition.

Recently, Forbes named Zimbabwe number one country to visit in 2025, a major endorsement that highlights the hard work of the Ministry and tourism players in showcasing Zimbabwe’s natural beauty to the world.
