Minister Ndudzo Refuses to Back Down in Clash With DJ Ollah
Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs Minister, Advocate Itai Ndudzo, is standing firm in his dispute with popular podcaster DJ Ollah, despite attempts by the presenter to apologise and ease tensions.
The conflict began after DJ Ollah mistakenly referred to Minister Ndudzo as opposition leader Nelson Chamisa during a recording. Although the DJ quickly apologised and said it was an honest error, the Minister has rejected the explanation.
DJ Ollah publicly repeated his apology, saying:
“Hon Ndudzo, we issued an apology, and the producer who made the mistake apologized to you on the day of the incident. We did not receive money from anyone. Once again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.”
However, Minister Ndudzo responded strongly, suggesting the DJ was not being truthful. He fired back:
“If pigs could fly, then certainly you travelled to the Chirasauta hinterland purely on a pilgrimage, and were up and down with your full team all day for charitable reasons. But you and I know better.”
The Minister believes the mix-up was not accidental and has accused DJ Ollah of acting as a “hired mercenary.”
The situation remains tense, with Ndudzo insisting he will not let the matter go, while DJ Ollah continues to maintain that the incident was nothing more than an unfortunate slip of the tongue.
