Manicaland Recommends Dr Paul Tungwarara for ZANU-PF Central Committee
Manicaland Province of ZANU-PF has proposed the inclusion of Presidential Investment Advisor Dr Paul Tungwarara into the party’s Central Committee.
The recommendation was made during an Extraordinary Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting held on Sunday, where members unanimously endorsed Dr Tungwarara’s appointment to the ruling party’s top decision-making body.
He is expected to fill the vacancy left by Cde Dorothy Mabika, who recently assumed the role of Provincial Women’s League Chairperson.
The endorsement recognises Dr Tungwarara’s significant contributions to national empowerment initiatives. In response, he accepted the recommendation, reaffirming his commitment to supporting ZANU-PF’s empowerment programmes.
According to the party’s constitution, the recommendation must be presented to the Politburo before formal co-option by the Central Committee.
