Zim Community Trailblazers Awards Set for 6th Edition in Harare
The Zimbabwe Community Trailblazers Awards (ZCTA) will hold its 6th edition on Friday, 12 December 2025, at the renowned Pabani Venue in Harare. The event will bring together Zimbabwe’s leading achievers, dignitaries, and community figures to celebrate individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions to their communities.
The ZCTA serves as a benchmark for excellence, recognising those driving innovation, positive change, and community development across Zimbabwe.
Albert Masaka, Chief Executive Officer of ZCTA, described this year’s ceremony as an unforgettable evening filled with glamour, recognition, and inspiration. The event will feature a star-studded lineup, including one of Zimbabwe’s top musicians and a special appearance by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Honourable Jenfan Muswere.
“We are delighted to honour the trailblazers making real impacts in their communities,” said Masaka. “Their dedication and commitment to excellence inspire everyone. Celebrating these achievements encourages others to pursue greatness and contribute to national development.”
This year’s theme, “Unity in Diversity, Strength in Community,” calls on all Zimbabweans to unite in building a brighter future. The ZCTA is more than an awards ceremony; it is a celebration of Zimbabwe’s resilience, determination, and spirit.
Past recipients of the awards include prominent figures such as Nigel Chanakira, Dynamos, Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, Sikandar Raza, Madam Boss, Baba and Mai Charamba, and Dr. Vivek Solanki, all of whom have demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment to community development.
“We are honoured to welcome the Minister of Information. His presence highlights the significance of the ZCTA in promoting social impact and community progress,” Masaka added
The awards have grown into a major event on Zimbabwe’s calendar, attracting celebrities, dignitaries, and community leaders. The evening will feature performances and the announcement of the winners of the prestigious awards. ZCTA is governed by an independent board led by Dr Nigel Chanakira, ensuring the credibility and integrity of the awards process.
