The ZANU PF party remains firmly focused on carrying out all resolutions adopted at its Annual National People’s Conference, according to the party’s National Political Commissar, Cde Munyaradzi Machacha.

Speaking during an interview with the Zimpapers Politics Hub, Cde Machacha said adherence to decisions made at the most recent conference held in Mutare is critical to the party’s ongoing mission.

“It is important for the party to remain loyal to the resolutions agreed upon at the last National People’s Conference. Our structures must assert their authority by guiding and monitoring Government efforts to ensure policies translate into improved living standards for our people. I urge all party members to remain united and committed to implementing programmes as guided by President Mnangagwa,” he said.

He further stressed that unity within the party is essential for strengthening internal cohesion and ensuring effective delivery of programmes.

“We must work collectively so that the value of our shared vision and commitment is visible to all,” he added.

Cde Machacha also expressed confidence that significant progress will have been made on the conference resolutions before the next Annual People’s Conference takes place.

“We have the ability to deliver. Most of the resolutions have already been cascaded to relevant Government ministries and departments. By the time we convene again, we expect to give a comprehensive account of tangible progress achieved on those commitments,” he said.

Addressing organisational restructuring, Cde Machacha revealed that the party has completed the establishment of cell and village-level structures and has now moved into the data collection and digitisation phase.

“Our restructuring exercise at cell level has been finalised. We are currently focusing on capturing data and digitising our records. Party structures remained active and visible across all provinces,” he noted.

He added that the party remains well-positioned for further growth, citing strong organisational performance throughout the year.

“The party continues to grow from strength to strength. Our structures were operational and effective, which reflects a healthy and organised movement,” he said.

Looking ahead, Cde Machacha expressed optimism that favourable rainfall patterns would contribute to sustained economic growth and improved livelihoods for Zimbabweans.
