ZANU-PF Harare Province Political Commissar, Cde Voyage Dambuza, has called on Teachers4ED to unite and strengthen the government’s empowerment initiatives.
He made the remarks while addressing a Teachers4ED training strategic workshop held today at Nyatsime Teachers College, organised by the Herbert Chitepo School of Ideology.
The event also witnessed the donation of 500 food hampers to Teachers4ED members, a move that underscored the party’s commitment to supporting educators.
Speaking at the gathering, Cde Dambuza expressed profound gratitude to Teachers4ED members for their unwavering support of the revolutionary party and President Emmerson D. Mnangagwa.
He urged educators to deepen their involvement by integrating into ZANU-PF cell structures, saying this would strengthen the party’s grassroots mobilisation.
“Your dedication to our revolutionary party, ZANU-PF, and your steadfast support for President E.D. Mnangagwa are invaluable,” said Cde Dambuza, highlighting the critical role educators play in national development.
“We urge you to take the next crucial step and join our ZANU-PF cell structures. This is how we build a stronger, more unified grassroots movement, ensuring that every voice is heard and every effort is coordinated.”
Cde Dambuza also spoke on the transformative impact of President Mnangagwa’s policies, noting the economic development currently sweeping across the country.
“President Mnangagwa’s vision is not just a plan; it is a living reality that is transforming our infrastructure, empowering communities, and creating unprecedented opportunities for all Zimbabweans,” he said.
The announcement of the 500 food hamper donation by ZANU-PF Harare Province, under the leadership of Provincial Chairman Cde Masimirembwa, was met with enthusiastic appreciation from attendees.
Cde Dambuza delivered the announcement, further reinforcing the party’s practical support for educators.
“It is with immense pleasure that I announce that ZANU-PF Harare Province, led by our esteemed Provincial Chairman Cde Masimirembwa, is donating 500 food hampers to our dedicated Teachers4ED members,” he said to warm applause.
“This gesture is a testament to our commitment to your well-being and a recognition of your vital contribution. This is more than just a donation; it is an investment in the future of our nation—an investment in those who shape the minds of our youth.”
The workshop concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment from Teachers4ED members, who pledged their continued allegiance to the revolutionary party and President Mnangagwa’s vision for a prosperous Zimbabwe.
