Engineers Give National Sports Stadium Two-Month Completion Timeline
The Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Sport on Thursday conducted an inspection tour of the National Sports Stadium to evaluate progress on the ongoing refurbishment of the facility.
Led by committee chairman Hon. Farai Jere, the delegation engaged engineers on site, who provided an update on the works being undertaken at the country’s flagship football venue.
The engineers indicated that the stadium could be ready for use within the next two months if current progress is maintained.
The facility is undergoing renovations as authorities work to bring it back to the required standards.
