New Brigadier Generals Appointed in Zimbabwe National Army
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Emmerson Mnangagwa, has elevated Kenson Carlos Dube and Jabulani Mlambo to the rank of Brigadier General in the Zimbabwe National Army.
The two senior officers received their new ranks during an investiture ceremony held at Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks on Friday.

Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi, praised the duo for their discipline, loyalty, and commitment to service.
He noted that their promotion was a result of the strong leadership they have displayed over time and followed a thorough evaluation process by the Command Element.
He added that the appointments reflect the trust placed in them by the Commander-in-Chief, urging them to continue upholding the Constitution and protecting the nation’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
