Another Man Down: Two Children, Zero Paternity—DNA Reveals

A man from Mutoko has ended his polygamous marriage after DNA results revealed that he is not the biological father of two children.

The results were announced on The Closure DNA Show, hosted by Tinashe Mugabe.

The man had two wives. He said he met his first wife while they were both single.

When she became pregnant, he avoided her for some time, but later accepted her and they continued their relationship. They went on to have another child together.

Problems started when someone from his wife’s village told him that he was not the father of the first child. He said their relationship became difficult, accusing her of bad behaviour like stealing and coming home late.

He later started a relationship with another woman, who also had a child and claimed he was the father. However, he had doubts and decided to do DNA tests for all the children.

When the results came out, they showed that he was not the father of his first wife’s first child and also not the father of the child with his second partner.

After hearing the results, the man said he would not use violence but would end both relationships.

“I will not give them a second chance. I want nothing to do with them or their children,” he said.

The situation has ended the marriage, with the man separating from both women.

The case has also sparked discussions about trust and the importance of DNA testing in relationships.
